Skills Profile
Two years of extensive Softimage XSI training, modelling, rigging, texturing, animating, lighting and compositing, has resulted in a high level of proficiency in the software.
For the final year of my BA(Hons) in Digital Animation, I chose to specialise further into modelling and texturing, providing a particularly high level of professionalism in these areas. This also helped to develop a good working knowledge in Pixologic Zbrush and an ability to adapt to new software.
I am adept in using Photoshop and Illustrator to design artwork, textures and multimedia with general training in Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash.
Experience/Achievements:
2008 Placement in London with Liquid Digital Ltd. Design Assistant for interactive multimedia studio.
2006-2007 Specialisation in Modelling and Texturing for industry standard.
My final project required me to conceptualise eight high detail pieces of artwork and model, normal map, texture, light and composite them in six months. This provided me with the bulk of my portfolio but more importantly highlighted my ability to work to tight deadlines and organise multiple projects simultaneously.
2006 The Twelve Trials of Hercules CD-ROM
As part of a group assignment, leading the animation section of the team, I created a two minute introductory animation for an eductional cd-rom as well as providing concepts and ensuring design consistency.
